This team is an embarrassing one to be a fan of and it feels like every time I put on the jersey, watch/go to a game, comment in fan communities, read news, get excited… God and the collective hockey world is having a laugh at my expense for being dumb enough to believe in this franchise.

A change has to be made. Whether it’s Jarmo’s firing, Vincent’s firing (I know that’s not going to happen), Recchi’s firing, or something else. Something HAS to change to show the players (and fans) that this is NOT okay.

But I’m REALLY starting to wonder if my allegiance to this team is even worth it. Every year come playoffs I hop onto other bandwagons. Should I just make one of those a full time thing?

Im telling my ticket rep tomorrow that we’re not renewing for next season. The ROI just isn’t there any longer. We almost didn’t renew our 5 seats for this year, but changed our minds today. The off-season mess, status quo ownership decisions and abhorrent hockey being played makes it feel like I’m Bil Murray in Groundhog Day. It’s foolish for me to keep investing in season tickets year after year.
So glad JK and company still has a job 🤷♂️ to think this team only has around $4m is cap space is beyond pathetic
