@Montreal Canadiens

I am not impressed..

OK Guys, it’s time to briefly review the game last night between the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins! Are the Habs officially in the tank race again? This is their 4th loss in a row, and believe me when I say it wasn’t pretty. However, Juraj Slafkovsky did have a solid game…

The articles that were in the video were screenshots from Habsfanatics.com, I highly reccommend you to check out this site for further Habs News,

Let me know whatcha think of this one down in the comment section!

  1. Wow, I recorded the audio for this video 5 – 6 times today. My apologies for the late upload, but I am having some issues with a cable for my microphone. Gotta get a new one asap.
    Cheers!!

  2. Montreal will never win a Stanley Cup again. This team is garbage, they need to stop trying to

  3. I'm with you Matt. Pretty pathetic showing. Slafkovsky looked better than most of the team and as for that goal against he's not a defenseman and I don't know where the hell they were. Anderson and to a lesser extent Cole are becoming a worry. But like you say we're in a rebuild and finishing near or at the bottom might be a blessing in disguise. GHG

  4. The Montreal Armia were in full force last night. I'm starting to think that there should be a defense coaching change as the boys are always getting scored on first. C'mon, get your head out of your Armia. Geez

  5. In context…I don't mind the losses so we can draft high at least for another couple years. Slaf has been good most games this year. I see a lot of positive progress. This was probably his worst game defensively, though. He's been pretty good defensively overall. Mark my words. Slaf will be a monster. Hab fans need to show some patience. But unfortunately, along with some of the best and most astute fans, we have some of the worst and most ignorant ones too. Some of the garbage being written on certain discussion boards is a testament to that.

Caulfield is a bigger disappointment. Really needs to get scoring 5v5. And actually just doesn't look good unless stationary waiting for a one-timer. Anderson has actually been playing well. Just totally snake-bitten. They'll start going in soon for both those guys, I'm sure.

  6. Without Dach, was gonna be hard to take the next step. Season will most likely be alot like last season. Be bottom 5 . Draft all forwards this time. We need a top end player badly

  7. Hating that back pass that forces forwards to become secondary defencemen. They aren't good at it and it puts them out of position way to often on the turnovers. The PK also needs to try ANY formation except the collapsing diamond. It just gives the other team too much freedom and time to plan a shot. Attack on the PK. It can't be any worse that that horror show the last 3 games on the PK.

  8. Gonna be a looong season and much longer 4 years of watching them stink. We're never gonna get rid of Anderson, he's absolute trash.

  9. I think from now on, every time I see Allen in nets, I'll play Grans Theft Auto online for a few hours.
Why the f*** is he still with the team?

  10. Bruins work ethic is impressive. I believe Suzuki lost every puck battle. He looks like a kid playing against men.

  11. we need Dach and we need Anderson gone…Andy is floating and contributing nothing.. even thoigh in re-build they have 2 show progress ahead

  12. I do not care where we finish in the standings as long as Caufield can get back to scoring, because right now he only has 5 goals on the season, we need to see a lot more production from CC.

  13. Caufield is a goal scorer – not a play maker – he needs to be surrounded by players who will feed him the puck. But this becomes a liability as other teams have figured out how to smother his shot with a vigorous forecheck. Now Caufield has to figure out how to move into other shooting lanes and thus giving more options. All the media critics seem to forget – this is a very young team with no experience playing against established veterans who have seen it all and are at their peak. Everybody – get real – it will take time – it will be ugly at times – but it will get better with time and some new players in the mix. Our management team and head coach are well aware of our limitations, but they know it will take time and work to put a great team together. There is one area I would like to see addressed are these unnecessary penalties which drain our energy and are the result of indiscipline. I'm not talking about an accidental high stick but more the cross check or retaliation penalties. Yes the compete level must remain high but you must also learn to play smart. Marty's got to lay down the law on stupidity.

  14. Lots of issues… too many to list! Hard to even justify making any adjustments based off this game lol too many shots against, soft goals going in, defensive issues, offensive issues, lack of shot blocking/deflection, penalty issues persist, etc. gotta just keep pushing forward boys, no use getting crazy yet

  15. im sick of this gm & staff for there pathetic way they runour team!!!! the slow pace we play at … especially on the pp & pk….. lets devolop slav at a price tag of caughfield!!!!!!

  16. Well we kinda expected it, but dam brother and sisters, mom put the peanut butter to high for Caulfield, and I think Anderson is using grandmas cane for a hockey stick or even his little sister ringette stick. Boys were looking so good, I just wanted them to the dark horse this year. But not at all, maybe there’s so trying!

  17. I wasn't expecting Montreal to show more than a few flashes of brilliance this year. They are exceeding my expectations. I have been generally extremely happy with the compete level of all goaltenders who are put into a shitshow of a meatgrinder. This keeper crew is going to suffer because Habs defensive systems this year are spending so much time puck watching, they have absolutely no chance of competing long term by abandoning defense.

  18. Can’t say I’m all that surprised. My only hope for the season is Slafkovsky to improve and continued improvement from suzuki. Outside of that, not much expectations. Losing Dach sucked though. I was really looking forward to see what he could do this year.

On a side note, I still don’t like the Reinbacher pick when we desperately need top end forward talent. Taking a shot there was the better option then drafting a guy when the ‘cupboards are full’ on D.

  19. I wasn't expecting much this season, but the no scoring is very painful. Getting a top 3 pick this year would be golden so i'm ok with loosing, but it is hard to watch atm.
