I think a coaching change happens before a trade. I lost count of how many 3rd period leads they’ve blown already, including 2 last night. That’s a coaching problem. I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a new coach announced during the next extended break in the schedule.

As a fan of both teams, I’m torn but would be happy to see wahlstrom more than once a year. I think he’d do well in Calgary. That said, I don’t think tanev or zaddy would do much for the islanders. If hanifin, Lou should be prepared for a much bigger offer than just wahly.. as hani is a top 4 d, some could argue top 2, on most teams without a Quinn Hughes or Cale Makar.
