Very first time watching F1 let alone live
First, during National Anthem, KNIGHTS, was heard throughout out the grandstands by me
Second, the best part was these radios they gave out to listen to the commentary. Would be awesome to have one of these at VGK games to listen to Dan D’uva while watching live

Did you see Bottas had a good VGK Jersey on for the driver parade?
The hate is easy to explain. People have had their commutes disrupted for months and when something affects people these days in a negative way, they will hate it not matter what.
Then add in that most of the crowd that came in are from places that don’t really tip which Vegas workers depend upon to pay their bills. So longer travel times, and less tips people are going to be upset.
The race in no way shape or form was worth the kinds of trouble the people here, especially those that had nothing to do with F1, had to go through in their daily lives in terms of getting to work, or to even do their jobs in the 1st place. My family had to deal with that, and let me just say the stress I witnessed from them was not pleasant whatsoever, so I can only imagine how some other locals, in their particular situations, were feeling about F1.
On the tourist side of things, those that took trips here to Vegas, but were not here for F1, really suffered in their wallets because of all the extra surcharging that was going on because of the F1 crowd coming in from out of the country, so they lost BADLY in this whole exchange.
Glad you enjoyed the race, I’m sure many others feel the same, but I personally would not be mad if F1 never came back again. It IMO was way too much trouble for what it ended up being, and I don’t think it will be any better in the future either.
