The San Diego Gulls fell 3-2 in overtime to the Checkers. Ben King recorded his first career multi-point game with a goal and assist, while Pavol Regenda scored on the power play for his team leading eighth goal of the season.

The best effort they've made at home in a while. Was a tough loss but was good to see we weren't playing short a man most of the game.
