It feels very much like the "load management" strategy with carlsson is exactly what should have been done with slaf
Bedard is at another level. On a bad team, scary.
no way Carlsson is going to SHL or AHL, he is staying. he makes that team better.
i think there is a chance verbeek has planned Leo going to the WJC into that "load management" schedule, keep him until a few day before the tournament, get him back after 14 days. and let him have that potentially golden experience both mctavish and zegras had. and if Leo joins that team, it might be the best Sweden has ever put together. they got depth you only see from NTDP or Canada.
and even without carlsson or potentially ohgren that has been hurt all year, they will still be one of the favorites for me, maybe lacking a number 1 goalie.
Cooley is a secondary assist merchant
Bedard getting an advantage with all the publicity is balanced out by the fact that Chicago is such a poor team, so he really has to earn his points as he's not getting many gift points from other star players on his team making great plays.
Carlsson’s not going back to any other league. He’s the Ducks number one Center for the next decade. He’s already the best player for the ducks (when he plays).
