On that topic, I do not like the puck over the boards penalty. I understand it’s intent is to prevent people from putting the puck over the glass to get a break from pressure in their own zone, but paradoxically no player will ever put the puck over the boards intentionally knowing that it will result in a call. Imo they should just do what they do with icing and prevent teams from making changes during the break.
