I don’t know that you are understanding the tech. As I read it they are just sensors on the pucks. Cameras track them. The camera would be capturing the data and relaying it wherever. Once a pick is gone (shot into stands) they just wouldn’t track it. It could still have the sensors on it but it’s not like you’d be able to cut it open and have access to some hidden stored info

Adam and Jesse absolutely had no idea what Steve was trying to say about those pucks lol. There are obviously little circles where those LEDs go, and the game-used pucks that Steve saw didn't have those little circles. They were probably older pucks, but they couldn't get that lol. Maybe Adam was just stoking the fire, but there was a communication problem lol

Drifting away from video games is just part of growing up, as far as I'm concerned. If you are an adult with a wife and kids, and you are committing time to playing video games, you need to rethink your priorities. In my opinion.
Used to work at SMT (sports management tech) here in Durham, Nc that does the tech in the pucks & the player tags during the games and replays.They are in all the game pucks and SMT has all the stats in real time. It’s a matter of the production team using the info during the game. They started using them in SOME playoff games in 2021. Then all games in 2022.

The sens were down a man because of two injuries that they don't want to put on LTIR in Norris and MacEwan. They are still eating up cap but can't play. They could have ended up in exactly the same situation if they had Pinto signed, their being short a man has nothing to do with that situation
That being said I don't disagree that Dorion can't manage the salary cap, but this situation isn't evidence of that.

Rebuilding team: "Attack of the Dead Men"
Young team growing into relevance: "Stormtroopers"
Contending team: "Dreadnought"
Declining team: "Last Dying Breath"

I will never understand why EA doesn’t put out a nice polished product and then maintains it for 3-5 years? After the first year you can pay a fee for DLC or it can be a subscription for new seasons’ content (roster updates, teams, new content in general) and they can continue polishing the already existing game rather than remaking last years game but worse. We don’t need a new NHL game or NBA or FIFA every year? Just maintain the product you put out for next gen and leave it at that???
