You can't be that small like I been saying about Dean and playing,LB , I said two years now Dean is to small and even smaller then I thought being under 240
starting to think this is why he fell so far in the draft, at one point he was considered a 1st round pick
2 of the best MLBs in the NFL are under 240lbs Warner and Smith his size isn’t an issue

I find it hard to believe that all these DBS can be this bad, and have fallen off this much from last season, Slay, Bradberry, Blankenship, and even Byard, have looked bad, I believe it's absolutely this scheme!
Cardinals blitz rate in 3rd down is 36%…… was it Gannon or Desai or somewhere else. People hate on Sileo but he brought up a good point it's alot easier to draft players to fit the scheme you have now versus overhauling your roster to fit a completely different scheme. I'm just saying it's interesting to think about

I wonder if eagles could use more three linebacker formations and maybe try some disguise pass rushing with Haasan blitz. Why not use sweat , Carter , cox , Brandon graham and Haasan at the same time.

Dean is not a middle LB and will never be.. They made the mistake letting TJ Edwards go for like 5 mil.. Should have been TJ at the MIKE and Dean at the WILL.. I dont even fully blame Dean for his coverage struggles.. No one is having success in coverage in this scheme.. I watch the tape and I just see Dean dropping into a zone and the QB finding the open spot in the zone. Desai is not even using Dean to his best abilities who was an excellent blitzer at Georgia.. On most cases I would rather watch Dean blitz instead of dropping into a zone and giving up an easy catch anyway.. I remember one play against the Cowboys Eli Ricks was on Lamb for a big 3rd down and all of a sudden Ricks leaves Lamb to drop into a zone and Lamb was wide open for a easy catch on the sideline.. It drives me NUTS!!!
I don't know what has to happen to explain to fans that the defense is not going to change with Siriani. So the blitzing and the man coverage is NOT gonna happen the way everyone wants it to. He likes to "eliminate the explosive plays". Screaming and begging for more blitz's and press coverage is just a waste of time. Siriani likes the Vangio style defense and that's what Desai knows. So you see more zone. Most of the league has moved to this, the only difference is other teams execute it better. I don't like what they do either, but as long as Siriani is in town… this is the defense we will see. UNLESS Howie or Jeffery get a word in some way. It's just the way its going to be.

You talking as if N. Dean is doing it on purpose. I do expect he's going to be replace. The problem with LBs in today's NFL is they're expected to cover receivers across the middle. It's not going to happen and that's something which you need a smallest LB that doesn't make for a good run stuffer. Pick your poison. The Eagles aren't the only team trying to figure this out.

The best ability is availability. Maddox and Nakobe are talented, but it doesn't matter if they're not on the field.
We haven't been able to see much but his lack of ability in coverage so far meanwhile lacking with size and height isn't very promising at all, especially when Morrow was an impact player for us before Dean came back
