I hate the Pittsburgh Penguins
Honestly, the worst part about this team is their decision-making. Shit’s brutal out there. Awful turnovers, *terrible* shot selections, not being able to get out of our own zone. I’m not sure if this is just remnants of Larson or what, but shit’s gotta change. It’s not even solely on us being a “young” team; the veterans are the ones making the worst decisions out there
It is frustrating to see how much better we were than last year and not being able to convert.
You can’t consistently give up 5 goals and expect to win a game

We should not be this bad. We are at the bottom of the league still with only 4 wins in 16 games. Got a win percentage of .250. That shit is just not acceptable right now. I get we weren’t supposed to be *good* this season, but that is just pitiful. At this rate, San Jose is gonna catch us.

This is embarrassing. There is no defensive system. We’re still attempting to clog up the middle of the ice but no one seems to want to make a block when they do. The other teams are running around like they are on the PP.

Severson was easily the worst player on the ice all night, did nothing but stand around and then turn the puck over whenever he had possession. With the way Elvis and guddy have been playing I can confidently say he has the worst contract on the team.
Fantilli line didn’t see the ice in the last 7 minutes of the game. Honestly what the fuck. The only guys that are consistently going and you put out Kuraly and company for three shifts?
How many Ls in a row before we see a big change? Mark Scheig made it seem like it could be soon on his latest podcast.

idk it’s still very early but frankly this losing streak has not made me a particularly big fan of Pascal’s coaching.
Not even going to talk about the PP as it’s been awful since the franchise was founded outside of, like, 3-4 months in 2016 when we won 16 in a row. And I’m not even going to mention Gaudreau and others making a ton of money to not score.
Until this team learns to give up less than 3 goals a game. They will never consistently win any hockey games. And no, this is not an Elvis complaint (he was good tonight and has been mostly all season. As has Martin). The defense by this team is atrocious. And also no, this isn’t just a defenseman issue. The forwards don’t defend well at all either.
I’ve decided I’m going to start betting against the Jackets. Either way I get something if I do this.

I know that Dump and Chase is a common strategy and we are doing it less but I will never understand why we dump and chase after we have pulled the goalie. It just seems like that would be the right time to maintain control on an entry.
If Jarmo and JD have jobs after this season I’m canceling my season tickets. All these prospects and signings plus waiting because we’ve been dealing with injuries. And winning 1 out of our last 11 is the best we can do?

Why do we always make this leagues superstars have career games on our home ice. All while our supposed death line is getting outshined by our rookies and checking line grinders.
