    Anyone have any thoughts on where Pysyk (assuming he gets called up at some point in time) might fit in? I know he’s likely a third pair Dman but has experience as a winger as well if memory serves me? Maybe takes Vinny Hinny’s spot or Nieto?

    The last 2 games were against teams on the back-end of B2B's, using their crappy backups. Then there's the Sharks win.
    I mean, the Pens are doing what they need to right now. Full credit there. I think the New Jersey and Carolina games will be more telling about the state of affairs though.

    just my opinion, but the consistent goaltending, in front of the solid defense, is important too. don't need to see spectacular saves, but do need to see no easy goals against.
