    So Leaf media need to get over Goi's age. It doesn't make a difference to Gio, it shouldn't make a difference to anyone else either. The dude is in great shape and he can take care of himself. Let's revel in the fact that he's still out there and making a difference. He's a leader on this Leaf team and it should be providing a whole lot of inspiration to every single member of the Leaf organization.

    I was shocked that Gio did as well as he did in that fight! Joshua is a big man and has fought a lot more than Gio . Italian stallion 👍

    I truly believe that the media and Leafs management, are setting the Leafs expectations way too high, just leave them alone, let them play, it puts too much pressure on the players.

    Not Fighting seems to be a Protest to Me
    Giordano just put an End to the Protest so the Team doesn't get too far Behind.
    Nick should know that putting a Defensemen on the Guy in front of Your Net , Helps Block Your Goalie and Leaves the Rest of the Line Shorthanded to get the Puck Out of Your End.
    I think a Lot of Teams are Protesting Bad Coaching.
    The League keeps Passing around the Same Old Same Old , Bad Coaching.

    That was incredible what Gio did. He was definitely winded afterwards and needed to sit and rest for a few minutes

    I agree with kipper. The other guys seem to have forgotten that this happened with Spezza, too. They won that one game, then what happened?

    It is indeed a problem of young guys not stepping up.

    Love Sammy going at it with Kyper, and Bourney being caught in the middle. Sammy is right. Whether Gio or not, it was the precise response that Kyper has said the Leafs needed but, when it happens, there’s something wrong with it?

    Kypreos needs to appreciate that whomever it needs to be to light that fire, is exactly who it needs to be. The answer cannot be the problem. Every single player on that roster could’ve done, and perhaps should’ve, before Gio answered the bell. But at the same time every player is on that roster for purpose, and of all the stats we could look at, I do not feel age should be in the conversation. I’m 40 myself, and I would probably lose that fight 10/10 times, but you stand for and with every other man there. Bone, bruises & wounds will always heal.
