Jack Campbell, Kyle Clifford Traded to Leafs for Trevor Moore and Picks to Kings

This is an upgrade for the Leafs both in net and in the toughness department. This is a good move by Kyle Dubas.

  1. What are Detroit’s trade pieces and landing spots for those? I’d deal Green and Dekeyser and keep Athanasiou (who is a 30 goal scorer) and the offense isn’t deep enough yet.

  2. I agree. The Maple Leafs got the better end of the trade. Los Angeles will be mired at the bottom for a while. They have too much money tied up in aging core players.

  3. just when we are starting to have our faith in Dubas waver a bit, he totally redeems himself!

  4. Am very happy about this trade tk u LEAFS am a huge LEAFS fan for some 38 yrs now. Finally another Domi. Someone who can. Stand up to these players and defend our players

  5. This is (another) mistake. We didn’t see the Moore potential because he had to play with several third rate players. You could put together a very useful team with leaf rejects playing now in the league….Moore is a nice addition to that team.

  6. Who cares..really why do these guys wear cups. We all heard crickets when a bunch of socialists losers in toronto that represent nothing canadian anymore fired the man that has done nothing but promote and protect this game. Hockey is no longer supportable

  7. Man wtf is up with Nolan Patrick. Got some serious issues with the flyers. I’ll bet he’d play tomorrow if on another team

  8. Campbell is only a .900 goalie. For every 30 shots the Leafs give up. The other guys get 3 goals. So the pressure is not on the defense. It’s on the offense to score 4 plus goals.

  9. Trevor is my cousin, he loved Toronto but he’s gonna love being in his home town.

  10. Finally, the Leafs add a goalie. Great channel, informative and objective!! Thanks for what you do.

  11. Campbell has done pretty good for the leafs, who are my second team since Plante and Parent. Sometimes a trade can fuel a player and right now he has done pretty good.

  12. This trade makes absolutely no sense to me. In a league that’s becoming more about skill and speed we decide to trade for a washed up slow badly performing tough guy that will spend more time in the box than he will playing? Explain how that works. This trade puts one step forward with Campbell and the 30 kilometers backwards by getting Clifford. Explain to me why we need a guy to stand for our young players If he won’t be on the same line and isn’t good enough to play with them. The team that leafs are asking for us the joke of a franchise that we were 5 years ago. Dubas and the rest of Toronto and the guys on sportsnet need to get their dinosaur head out of their asses and learn how to adapt to the new NHL. A player like Clifford shouldn’t be on any modern NHL team, this trade would have made a little bit of sense like 5 fucking years ago. The team that leafs fans think we should be is the team that won 29 in a season and drafted Frederik Gauthier. Fire fucking Dubas

  13. "they win this one going away." boy did they ever, for all the valid criticism of Kyle Dubas that there is,and there is. This is Dubas's greatest trade.

Now Campbell needs to stay healthy and sign an extension

  14. Wow …2 years later…and Trevor Moore is a 2nd line player and signed a 5 year extension….looks like the Kings have won this trade.
