Mitchkov can drop to the Canucks if he wants
Injuries, the russian factor and contract situation. its not his talent
Because he can't play against others and he might get summoned to serve in the Russian army. Alll negative things
Michkov hockey skill is still the stand alone 2nd best player in the 2023 draft. His drop starts with his injury last aug early in the start of the KHL season. All this other crap is noise. too good not to be taken early
Circonstances;
Won’t be available to come to North America for another 3 years, think about it for a second, what if he decides to stay un Russia and sign an extension?? But most important , with a draft this deep in talent why would teams with the 2nd / 3rd / 4th overall pick take him? when you have guys like Leo Carlsson, Adam Fantilli, Braiden Yager. Edgard Yele available? Those are all blue-chip prospects.
Imo he is going 4th, 5th….
But is papa Putin letting him go? Its a gambel to chose him I think.
