    * OEL scored 39 seconds into the game.
    * Dickinson knocked in a feed from Reichel from in front of the net.
    * The Panthers went 2-for-4 on the PP.
    * A would-be Panthers goal was called off for goalie interference.
    * Bedard earned back-to-back 2-goal games.
    * He stole the puck and scored then scored again on a rush.
    * Foligno pounced on Kulikov for laying a hit on Bedard.
    * Soderblom needs to work on his positioning.
    * The Hawks split the Mom’s trip.

    I liked how Bedard flipped a rat after the game. He had a nice chance at the end. I am not sure if Tyler Johnson’s chance would have counted if it went in.

    They gave it a damn good effort. Florida is head and shoulders above us, talent wise, but the fact that we split the season and stayed competitive in the loss is a great sign.

    Ready to get a winning stretch going here as our schedule may start to finally see some evenly matched teams.

    A lot of grit in this team. Not much going offensively but managed to play it the the last secondagainst a very good team. No complaints here, even against SJ, who I am not a big fan of.

    I wish we could see Bedard playing alongside Kane. I think those two would make some real magic together.

    I also wonder how different things would look for this team if they had Toews to take faceoffs. There are so many missed opportunities when you’re losing most of those.

    That was a fun one! The talent discrpancy was obvious throughout the rosters but we had a good effort all game, I thought.

    Reichel had a great game overall, I thought, while Bedard’s line was pretty weak outside of his two goals that he basically did single-handedly lol should we… PUT THEM TOGETHER?

    The PP1 continues to be a disaster, take Jones and Foligno/Kurashev off of there yesterday lol

    That’s a good team, Hawks fought their asses off. Can’t stress it too much, this team is more entertaining than I thought they’d be going into the year. Bedard is as advertised and Vlasic is improving quickly

    Solid game. The last minute’s storm was great unlike the game vs the Devils last week. Bedard looks more and more confident with every game which is amazing! Foligno is the guy! Reichel has been disappointing so far, hope he comes around. Jones… it is not his fault that he got the contract that he got but it sets expectations, the number of turnovers and PP is not what everyone expects. put Korchinski on PP1.

    I feel like “Connor dazzles in a close loss” will be a very common headline for the next 2 years. It’s ok, watching this team grow and develop is gonna be fun as hell.

    I think kulikov got what he deserved fucking with Bedard on that hit, to be honest. I think sending a message from Foligno to the rest of the league is super important when you have a superstar like CB98 on your team. I didn’t mind it but I wonder in a close game if you guys felt it was a bad penalty?

    Goaltending wasn’t great, but overall, this was a pretty good game. The Hawks got outplayed by a better team. Making Florida sweat is impressive. Can’t wait till the Hawks have more talent and we get to be a bit upset about a loss like this instead of looking for moral victories
