It’s a bit strange because I feel like the biggest issue is just clearing the zone. It’s multiple times a game where I hear “jackets fail to clear the zone” and I can tell my girlfriend “we’re about to get scored on”, which we do. Our transition/neutral ice play has looked better this year ImO

This is why I feel like we need blankenburg back. He’s a defensive stay at home D man. All our guys are to offensive minded. We need that guy that makes sure we don’t get a 2vs 0 break away. Blanks does score a bit but there’s more to hockey then that like preventing the other team.
Goaltending is not good. That’s a cherry picked stat lol. When your best SV% is .907 good for 30th in the league, no. Just no. Elvis is even worse at .897. Goalies good is like saying Chipotle is good. It might be better than Taco Bell, but it’s still shite.
