[Ruff] Last night was one of the most angry locker rooms following a game that I’ve been in in my three years with the Canes.

Rod Brind’Amour wasn’t thrilled with his top guys and the leadership group said that there were issues with preparation and work ethic, as well as not having everyone on board.

Jordan Martinook put bluntly that the team needed to play like that was the team that had ended their playoff run last season and they didn’t.

But the beauty of the NHL is that they’re right back at it this evening.

How will they respond?

There will be no shortage of motivation for the group, given that they’ve been to Amalie Arena to face the Lighting twice already this season (once in preseason and once last month) and were shut out both times.

Tonight feels like an extra important game.

Let’s see what the group shows up with.

    Good, Give them hell Rod.

This could be a watershed moment

I’m actually glad to hear it. I trust the coaching staff but I’m sick of hearing “we liked how we played” after losses (especially in the rough stretch near the end of last season). I want to see the team play with some fire in them.

It ain’t gonna hit until someone gets fired/traded.

  4. Idc if we have 10 penalties, the guys better play like their hair is on fire tonight

  5. What does “not having everyone on board” actually mean?
